FEATURES
The Powermark FlyPeak laser is a revolution in laser marking on plastic. It is a DPSS (diode pumped solid state) system, combining the high peak power of very short pulse duration (compared to commercial solid state lasers) with unchanged average power, and the only laser source on the market that does this.
FlyPeak operates in a single shot range at 100 kHz with pulse width between 2 and 10 ns. Controlling the heat input is critical for quality laser marking on plastic. Too much heat can burn the marking edges, compromising quality and contrast. Instead of white, the marking comes out brownish-yellow.
Powermark FlyPeak for integration is a robust, durable product, that works in any industrial environment. It can be used for laser marking: 2D codes, alphanumerical codes, one-dimensional codes, and logos.
FLYPEAK laser pulse is always less than 10 ns for its entire range (from 20 kHz = 3.5 ns). This allows the marking to be cooled compared to traditional nanolasers, including fiber lasers. As a result, process quality is better. As with all LASIT laser markers, this one can be integrated into the line with Profibus, Profinet, or Ethernet/IP protocols.
